A special PROGRAM for middle school students from Brooklyn green school

Lets Get Ready for an Adventure Together!

We are excited for this special Trail Blazers, BKG school + camp collaboration! Your rising 6th, 7th Graders and rising 8th Graders are invited to join us for an adventure filled with outdoor camp fun to help prepare them for the upcoming school year. Keep reading for more details about this unique overnight camp program.

If you would like to JOIN OUR Virtual INFO SESSION on TUEsday, May 14th @ 7PM Click the button to RSVP

Your camper will participate in a 2 week sleepaway camp experience, modeled on our award-winning 130-year old summer camp program. The program takes place at our 1000-acre Mashipacong Estate in Montague, NJ (transportation is included, free of charge).

In this special middle-school camp program, campers spend their time in a “smallcamp,” a group of up to 10 youth of the same age, and their Group Leaders. All campers live in a dedicated campsite, sleep in canvas tents (no cabins here!), and begin and end their day at their campsite. School staff will also be in attendance.

The days are packed with camp activities designed to build confidence, to make fun memories, and to bond with classmates – all to prepare mentally and academically for the year ahead.

What Our Parents say

Testimonials From Summers Past

“Our son taught our family new camp songs, we loved it. His agency and confidence had only grown and the time in nature has been such a compliment to his love of animals and the outdoors. Trail Blazers has helped him with tenacity. He encourages me and others to ‘keep trying, you can do it’.”

“Well done! Our daughter loved her experience thoroughly. The counselors were friendly and greeted her warmly every morning! The projects were creative and she loved learning about marine life, using the underwater cameras, playing fish bingo and more! I love how engaged she was and hearing about all she was learning about her environment. Thanks for a terrific experience!”
