Each day at Trail Blazers can be different because we believe in tailoring programs to each small camp’s needs and interests, for a truly unique (and impactful) experience! However, each day has several core components designed to foster social emotional growth and learning. Below is a sample day:

• 8:00 – 9:00: Breakfast in the Great Hall  
• 9:00 – 9:30:  GOAL SETTING: Opening Sunrise Circle to set daily goals with the group
• 9:30 – 11:00: TEAM BUILDING: Low-ropes course and games 
• 11:00 – 1:00: MASTERY (hard skills session): How to use a compass and orienteering treasure hunt 
• 1:00 – 2:00: Picnic Lunch at the waterfront
• 2:00 – 2:30 SOLO: Personal reflection time 
• 2:00 – 4:00: RECREATION: Boating, swimming, and fishing in Lake Mashipacong 
• 4:00 – 5:00: FOCUS: Discussion groups with activities to support academic growth, led by school staff
• 5:00 – 7:00: Cook Out! Learn to cook a meal over a fire, play games, and sing songs! 
• 7:30 – 8:30: RECREATION: Stargazing and animal spotting in Constellation Field
• 9:00 – 10:00: REFLECTION: Sunset Circle and Bedtime (end-of-day debrief around the campfire with games, songs, beading, and get-to-know-yous!) 

• DATES: Brooklyn Green School students can enroll into either session 2 which runs from July 15th to July 29th, or session 2 which runs August 1st to August 15th. Brooklyn Green School students have their own dedicated smaller camp within the larger overnight camp session.

• COST: This program is $250. Families with a household income less than $100K/yr can participate for FREE. This program is sponsored by a partnership with the American Camp Association (ACA) and the National Summer Learning Association (NSLA).
