Trail Blazers Program Overview

Trail Blazers offers a variety of exciting summer and year round outdoor adventure and environmental education programs for youth. Our unique hands-on programs and activities emphasize a respect for nature and offer opportunities to unplug and connect with our stunning natural environment.

Children and young adults from the tri-state area come to Trail Blazers to have a unique experience, engaging in a variety of adventure-based activities using our 1000 acre property. Through all of our programs, we promote respect and curiosity for the environment, self-confidence, empathy, peaceful conflict resolution, team building, communication, and a love of learning. approach PLG Trail Blazers

We're bringing the Trail Blazer experience to Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn, NY! Participants in PLG Trail Blazers will unplug and explore their urban surroundings, finding quiet moments in our busy city and tuning in to the environmental settings. This adventure will culminate in an overnight at our 1000 acre camp in Montague, NJ! View details.

Combining a four-week summer intensive program at camp and engaging leadership summits throughout the year, the Under One Sky Leadership program offers a unique combination of outdoor adventure, real-life skill building and environmental leadership development, in a year-round package. approach Futures in Food

Our newest year-round program, made possible through a competitive grant from the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies (FPWA), is designed to further help teens connect with the land, learn where food comes from, develop healthy habits, and transform the skills gained through outings and workshops into a career. approach Conferences and Rentals

Trail Blazers has hosted retreats, conferences, reunions, picnics, weddings, camp outs, environmental education workshops, and team-building and personality development activities on our pristine 1000 acre property.
